Confirming the launch, CRFA vice-general secretary Antonio Manda said the official launch game will be between Airborne Rangers and Holy Cross Ambassadors.
“We are all set for the big day and we are now working on the final touches,”: said Manda.
Ambassadors finished second last season while Rangers, who will be the hosts, were third.
Manda said the launch that will include the trophy parade by models.
The league has 66 teams in three divisions is sponsored to the tune of K10 million.
Last year, the package was at MK9 million.
Minister of Labour, Youth, Sports and Manpower Development, Henry mussa, is expected to grace the event.
